Sending out Franchise Application

How to send the franchise Application

The franchise application is sent to the prospect when they get to the point where they are ready to commit.

You want to make sure that you go over the questions on the application over the phone or on screen share with them, so they know what to expect.

It is always good to start asking some of the questions early on in the sales process. For example if they have an entity that they would like to use to operate their franchise under, if they have thought about a dba name they would like to use. The sooner you start putting those questions/ideas into the conversation, the sooner the prospect will start picturing themselves as a franchisee.

Before getting the application filled out there are some things that you should keep in mind:

  • Does your prospect plan on having partner/s?
  • Do they have entity set up and dba name picked out?
  • Do they have the money to invest?

Getting an application before most of those items are figured out doesn’t really do you any good. As all of them are needed prior to requesting the franchise agreement.
