How to Evaluate a Lead

When you have a new lead it is important to get a call out to them as soon as possible. In the video below Buddy will walk you through how his Initial Phone Call is structured and what type of questions he asks to evaluate the interest from the prospect. Buddy’s guidelines for initial call:

The IPC (Initial Phone Call) – I find it best to ask a few groundwork questions to establish the validity of the lead.

  1. You submitted a lead, tell me a little about your decision to look into franchising.
  2. What’s your timeline?
  3. Describe your past business experience

You are trying to determine if they go to a screen share or you share the video.  If you are new, try to get them all to a screen share for the practice.

  1. Agents are looking for higher incomes and are expecting more value from their brokers, wouldn’t you agree?  I’ve never had anyone say no to this, but some ask for an explanation.
