Lead Management in Salesforce

Adding and Managing Leads in Salesforce

Salesforce (SF) is our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).

This is where you will add any potential franchise prospects and keep track of what is happening with each lead.

The Franchise Lead Page is broken up into different sections.

  • Status Bar – This is at the top and gives a quick glance at where the prospect is at in the sales process. Please be sure to select the status for your lead, this will help us know what is going on with your leads and keep our dashboards up to date.
  • Franchise Prospect Info – Basic info about your prospect and co-applicant if applicable.
  • Notes – This is where you can keep track of any information that you gather from your prospect or about conversations you had with them. It’s always a good practice to put the date for each thing you add in there.
  • Formstack Links – This is where the Formstack links should show up, those links get pulled into automated emails if you chose to use them, or you can copy those links to send to your prospects depending on what you need from them. For example if you are sending the FDD, you would attach the FDD and send the FDD Receipt Confirmation Form link with it. But to avoid any mistakes it’s best to utilize the automated emails 🙂
  • Franchise Checklist – This is a list that helps us keep track of what has happened in the sales process.
  • Confidential Questionnaire – This is where the answers from the CQ will go into.
  • Franchise Information -Partner 1-4 – This is where the information from the application will flow into. All the important info about the Franchise Business and it’s partners.
  • Onboarding Info & any sections below – This is where you stop and don’t have to worry too much about, as it’s mainly for our onboarding team to gather information in order to know which systems to set them up with.

This unit will go over how to:

  • Access your leads
  • Add a new lead
  • Edit leads and change statuses
  • Log calls
  • Create a task
  • View and/or upload documents
  • View Franchise Dashboard
